When a tumour-based illness in the lymph nodes is of metastatic origin, cryosurgical intervention to destroy the tumour is an option with excellent results due to the spread of the illness.  When the metastasis presents between 1 and 4 isolated lymph nodes, it is possible to consider control using cryosurgical techniques TAC which are minimally invasive and involve a 24-hour hospital stay.

This operation can even be performed in cases of metastatic lymph nodes due to prostate, kidney cancer, etc.
