THE PROGRESS MADE IN THE INTERNATIONAL CENTER OF CRIOMEDICINA OF MALAGA, REFERENCES OF THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM OF CRIOCIRUGIA OF BUCHAREST

LOS AVANCES REALIZADOS EN EL CENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE CRIOMEDICINA DE MALAGA, REFERENCIAS DEL FORO INTERNACIONAL DE CRIOCIRUGIA DE BUCAREST

The International Center for Cryosurgery and Cryotherapy, located in Malaga, applies the technique of freezing and eliminating tumors in a natural way, with a "clean" surgery, minimally invasive for the human body and minimal side effects. The advances and positive results have motivated their studies to be analyzed in the International Cryosurgery Forum in Bucharest; recently celebrated

The technique of cryotherapy may be associated, if necessary, with traditional techniques such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy and may be useful when traditional surgery is not indicated or possible. The medical director of the International Center for Cryosurgery, Dr. Pedro Torrecillas, says "we have carried out interventions with a positive result in more than 90% of cases. To do this we freeze the destruction of cancer cells naturally, both in benign and malignant tumor cells, almost applicable in many types of cancer.

The advantage of cryosurgery over other techniques is that you have better access to more advanced tumors, avoiding risks and supplementing other protocols for the elimination of cancer cells. This technique allows eliminating the tumor in a natural way, with a "clean", minimally invasive surgery for the human body and minimal side effects. In this way, the cancer cells are destroyed without damaging the rest of the healthy organ, nor the rest of the nearby areas.

CRYOSURGERY.- Cryosurgery basically consists of frostbite until the destruction of cancer cells. For this purpose, noble argas is used, such as Argon, applied through very fine needle-shaped ducts that are introduced into the tumor by means of a CT scan or ultrasound. The expansion of the gas inside the probes makes it possible to reduce the temperature of the affected area, reaching -192 degrees Celsius, burning the affected tissue with that cryogenic temperature, eliminating the cancer cells.

"It does not pretend to be a miraculous therapy, but it is the last treatment of a long series of investigations for a multidisciplinary, physiological and natural cancer therapeutic procedure. Malaga is already one of the most advanced development centers in Europe for this technology.

"Cryosurgery can also be a complementary therapy to others to treat any type of disease. Curing of the tumor, thanks to cryosurgery, esmultitherapy: radiotherapy, chemotherapy or thermotherapy can be associated with lacriotherapy, which also has the powerful advantage of being able to repeat treatment in the disease process, if necessary.

The advances of this technique have allowed to treat other organs of the body affected with cancer as well as prostate and kidney, the so-called solid organs: lung, bones, connective tissue, breast, pancreas, liver. The experts of the International Center of Cryosurgery were also invited to the Congress of Regenerative Medicine and Cell Therapy, which took place in Fuengirola, on dendritic cells and cryoimmunotherapy.
